Oh No, not another personal site ???  Yep, afraid so, so what's here ?

Not a lot really, but you can read a brief-ish history About Me.  Hoping you don't get too bored !!
Then if that's not enough, there's some More Trivia and Waffle to read over.

Quite a few people reckon a Guest Book is a waste of time and space.   But I've got some of each so I've put one up !!.   I've played around with a few and you can get to the current Guest Book from here.
I whittle out the odd-ball Entries now and then, but as there's absolutely no reason for you to be the odd one out, why not Please Sign It before you leave ?
View the other Entries while you're there too :-))

Although there's not all that much here, I would like to know who has been visiting and to go to the visitor's Sites as I don't think it should be one-way traffic and it's only courteous.
[ I haven't been able to do much recently, what with moving house amongst other things ]
Anyway, the visitors have left their mark here by filling in some details on the Free-For-All Links page.
I have toyed around with a few FFAL thingys and the current FFAL page is available from here.
The first F in FFAL stands for Free, but it's not completely free !!

I'm having a few problems with getting my Music and Picture pages up and running.  Help me out with some suggestions, etc., .. via the Contact Us page.

Over the years I've used a few ISP's and been in their own NewsGroups (amongst various others) read up on certain Web sites and got quite a bit of help along the way so I try to put back what I've taken out.
I have started to make up some Hints, HowTo's and Tips on Web Page Help.
And for people using particular ISPs, there are also the BT and Freeserve FAQ's .
I hope they will help you.

Most of the pages, and most of the content, views O.K. with Netscape 4.x and 6.x browsers although the whole site isn't browser compatible ... not yet ... and as technology changes, probably never will be !

I usually use Internet Explorer 6, Netscape 7 and Firefox 0.8 to view the pages while I build them and I continue to strive to get the pages working with the other browsers .. so please be patient !!

Yes I know there's others around, but it's enough for me to cope with those three  <lol>

You will need to have JavaScript enabled to see some of the content ... the Virus Info page and 3 pages within the Web Page Help section.
Don't worry, I'm not that clever and there's nothing sinister.

 

It was aroundabout here that I had a Site Counter displayed.  It's the one thing that I have decided to remove !   Nevertheless, please spread the word around :-)

Some of the Visitors have mentioned one thing or another, with about four complaints ... so far !

One of those complaints was that some people found it difficult to distinguish between the blue text I was using now and then and the usual blue used for Links.
That has all been changed.  All the blue text you see are Links ... and all the Links are blue.
And change colour to red when mouse-over.
And I hope I've got them all sorted out !

Another complaint ... more a telling off !! ... was that I used these words :
"This Site built using, and viewed with, Internet Explorer 6 with a screen resolution of 1024 x 768.
( Previously using IE 5.5 and a screen of 800 x 600, so it might be a bit squashed.)"
It was just some Information for the visitors, not that they had to use those specifically, so please don't tell me off again !

Yeah, I know it's not much of an opening page to capture your interest and attention but I hope enough to keep you here to see the rest of site.
If you have smiled sometime before you left then it would of been worthwhile.
